EQUIPMENT
The FOTOfactory’s has a fully equipped black & white darkroom in the centre of Amsterdam.
It’s possible to print 35mm to 4×5” film (color and black&white).
It’s also possible to use during the course a digital or film slr from us. We have Nikon SLR cameras (digital and film) with all kinds of lenses.
Our digital suite consists of Apple I-macs. You can produce archival inkjet prints up to A3 size using Epson Stylus Photo R1800 which are connected to one dedicated workstation.
For general scanning we have one workstation with an Epson A4 scanner, able to scan prints up to A4 and 35mm to 4×5” film.
Available software includes: Photoshop, In Design CS, Adobe Lightroom, Illustrator.
Our studio consists of 16 Monoblocs (1600 W) and 9 Monoblocs (400 W), 25 light stands, 6 boom stands, light meters, softboxes, umbrellas, reflectors, barndoors, snoots, backgrounds etc.
Our gallery is about 150m2 and available for exhibitions.
